Our Monthly Selection: The '11-Type'

Each month, we analyze the performances of U21 players from National 1 to National 3 and select the best to form our '11-Type'. This ranking highlights the most promising talents, allowing clubs to discover players who deserve an opportunity at the highest level. Several players who have featured in our selection have since signed with professional clubs.

A former player of Puy Foot 43 in National 2, Nicolas Pays stood out with his remarkable performances in National 2. His rapid progress and talent on the field led him to be recruited by Montpellier HSC in Ligue 1, where he aims to establish himself at the highest level of French football. He excels in one-on-one situations and is highly effective in the final and pre-final passes.

Neil El Aynaoui

A promising midfielder with great endurance, Neil El Aynaoui played in National 1 before gaining recognition. Thanks to his solid performances in midfield, he caught the attention of several professional clubs and eventually signed with RC Lens, where he will compete in the Champions League.

Amine El Ouazzani, the Rising Star

Born in Grenoble, Amine El Ouazzani started his career at Grenoble Foot 38, then moved to Football Bourg-en-Bresse Péronnas (N1), where he clearly demonstrated his potential to play at the highest level. His strong performances in National earned him a move to En Avant Guingamp in Ligue 2, before being signed by SC Braga in Portugal in 2024 for €3.5 million. He also won the U23 Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco. This goal-scoring machine is a highly mobile forward, very complete, and rarely misses his target.

🏆 The U21 Gold Award: Recognizing Top Talents

During the 2022-2023 season, when our media was still called Billion Keys, we had the honor of selecting the best U21 player of the season and awarding him a prestigious trophy.

That year's winner was Abdeljalil Hachem, a talented box-to-box midfielder who played for Bobigny in National 2. His outstanding performances earned him this recognition:
